We would like to take this opportunity to thank all at Al Khalid/Your travel shop for all their efforts and kidma'h
throughout our stay. We didnt know Bashir moma or any of the staff on a personal level before the trip, but from its infancy
the confidence they instilled into was of the sort that usually only comes about after years of interaction.
From the early stages Basir moma instilled into us the reality, magnitude and importance of the journey we were about to make, therefore removing any doubts and fears we may have had.
Alhumdolilah we were able to choose the option f package, and all praise to Allah swt this turned out to be ideal for us.
Though this package is the most expensive we found it to be worth every penny. The hotels in both Makkah and Madinah were ideal with regards to facilities, food and location in regards to the two Harams.
The laundry service that is included in the package may seem minor, but once you are there you will realise how much of a burden it is off your shoulders. The process of taking your clothing to a laundry, the cost incurred and then arranging to pick up your clothes is far too time consuming when in such a blessed place where every minute is priceless. The service
consists of placing your clothes in a bag, leaving a marker with your room number on it. The next day your clothes are washed AND ironed wrapped in paper waiting for you.
The food was served in a buffet fashion, and Alhumdolilah the variety on offer would suit almost every taste. Breakfast, lunch, tea, supper were all catered for. And for all you tea (ice cream/popcorn - delete as appropriate!) addicts out there, it was available around the clock, 24 hours a day!
The Makkah Muwadah hotel is a 2 min walk from the Haram - again time is priceless in such a blessed place. Accessibility from the hotel to other places eg Masjid e Aisha for Umrah is easy as taxis are literally at the doorstep around the clock
For the shopaholics amoungst you the Bin Dawood shopping complex is situated a minute away from the hotel - though Insah'Allah i hope the shopping is kept to a minimum!
The Elaif Taiba hotel in Madinah is situated approx 2 min walk from Masjid e Nabwi (SAW). The Kajoor (dates) market is a 10 min walk away - may i recommend the 'Ambar' type of kajoor!
Food and laundry service mirror that which is available at Makkah.
During the five days of Hajj, all the necessities were catered for. From food to showers, to blankets and cold drinks.
Without 'talking down' other tour groups we noticed (and friends in other groups confirmed) that Al Khalid provided services that all local UK groups didnt offer. (apologies if this is inaccurate, just speaking from personal experience). For example in Muzdalifah hot food is provided when in contrast soo many other groups didnt offer such a service.
In conclusion the whole experience of the Hajj is one that we couldnt describe, this is a feeble attempt at describing the 'lesser' parts to the journey. Hajj is a unique and wonderful experience, not to mention an act of worship. But like with most things you will only get out what you put in. What Al Khalid tours and its staff enable you to do is worry about the things that matter, like how many nafl salaah you can get in etc whilst they take care of the things that dont matter like taking that tea stain off your jubbah!
Once again a big Jazak'Allah to Bashir moma and all the staff, truely only Allah swt can justly reward you for all your efforts.

Jazak Allah Khair we had an excellent Umrah trip and were very pleased with the arrangements made for us by your travel shop. The email which you refer to was borne out of frustration and I fully understand that there is not a great deal more you could have done. In my defense I organized this trip on behalf of my friends and there frustration coupled with my own boiled over.
I apologise for any thing I said or did which caused offence or hurt to anyone, especially Usman who I dealt with through out the process, you were in my duas and I pray that you have every success here and in the here after – ameen.
I would especially like to thank your Father who offered us great deal of support whilst in Arabia, he quite literally treated us as family (at least that’s how I felt).
I hope your long holiday was enjoyable as ours I only wish I had gone for that long.

I hope you are both in good health ( Iappreciate Usman you will receive this mail when you return to the country).
Just really a quick e-mail to thank you both for all the help and assistance over the past few weeks. I sincerely hope that we did not cause you too much aggravation and if we did then we apologise. Adjusting to the UK lifestyle is difficult although I can say with hand on heart that it has been an experience of a lifetime that I will never forget.
Thank you both (and all at Al -Khalid) for making our journey a pleasant one.
I look forward to seeing you both on 11th February.

To all at Al khalid tours,
Well, what can i say? It seems my lovely farzana mami has said it all- as usual:))
As a young person performing hajj for the first time i had no idea what an amazing journey i was about to embark upon. It was as people say a journey of a lifetime.
However,for it to be the experience it was, our thanks have to go out to all the staff at Al Khalid for all their efforts and hospitality. They were with us through all the emotional points(like on completing hajj), the scary parts(stoning the jamarat) and the happy parts-probably when they got rid of us all at heathrow
Joking aside, if you are considering this tour group we'd highly recommend it, whether you're a family, a couple or single.
Thank you once again-hope to travel again with you soon-inshallah.

Salaamz to everyone at Al Khalid...i just want to let everyone know how special n wonderful this trip was for me...im only 14 and ive done my hajj with ma mum and brother also the rest of my family including Nizam kaka, nani, masa masi, cuzinz, foi fawa, mauta ba n ma....this was the best trip ever and it's never going to be forgotten....inshallah allah will invite me to the special place makkah again as soon as possible....all you people out there who want to visit the holy place and have no idea which group to go with I advise you to go with the Al Khalid group as they are always there for you, you have no disapointments, its a relaxing and joyful journey, everyone in the group are like a happy family. I miss everyone especially Taslima and Seema they were like my older sistaz and i miss them dearly...Hope to travel with Al Khalid group again inshallah.
